Be part of TLT! Tomorrow's Leaders Today would not be possible without the support of people who understand the importance of training future community leaders. Planning and coordinating a Program Day is a rewarding and enlightening experience. As part of a small committee, volunteers attend planning meetings, contact speakers, arrange tours, and best of all, join the TLTers for the Program Day.
Program Day Coordinators - from business, government, media, nonprofits and other community sectors - strive to bring to each day a stimulating mix of ideas, voices and activities.
Experience the excitement of mentoring students, as they grasp an understanding of community issues, problems, and opportunities, and help them learn how they can respond to them as a leader.
Other than the Executive Director and satellite Program Coordinators, TLT is completely volunteer-driven. In addition to planning and coordinating the day programs, volunteers participate on Steering Committees, participate in the interview and selection process and fund the organization.
TLT invites you to get involved! Donate on-line, or email us with your areas of interest. A contact form is available under contact.
Melissa Bastianon, Volunteer
Melissa Bastianon is a native of Santa Rosa and graduated from Piner High in 1998. During her Junior year of high school, she was selected to participate in Tommorrow’s Leaders Today. This amazing leadership opportunity later encouraged her to study abroad as an exchange student in Argentina. She currently serves as the Assistant Governmental Affairs Director of the North Bay Association of REALTORS®. Melissa actively participates in TLT Government Day, and continues to volunteer with a number of non-profit organizations.
“Being raised in a low-income household, opportunities were not readily apparent. TLT introduced me to a world beyond my imagination and gave me the confidence to explore beyond my boundaries. “
