The TLT program also introduced me to and educated me about many professions that I had not considered pursuing before my participation in TLT. Ultimately, I believe TLT played an integral role in my decision to attend law school.
After I graduated from law school, I returned home to Santa Rosa to begin my career and began volunteering with various organizations in the community. In 2008, I became a member of the Board of Directors for TLT because I believe the program is invaluable not only to the students who participate in the program but also to the community. As the 2009-2010 President of the Board of Directors, it is my goal to ensure that the TLT program continues to provide students with confidence, leadership skills, and unique opportunities to interact with community leaders for many years to come.
